Be The Subject-Not The Object

Will it be another day of new beginnings....and never endings? Who knows..but I will try to actually articulate somewhat and hit the POST button when I'm done. I have so many (what i think are interesting) ideas that never come to fruition. E.G. This blog; I started it in May and this is my first post. In any case, blogging is apparently the fashionable thing to do, and being the outrageously 'with it' gal I am...here i go!
Ah-hem. Yes I have decided to operate as if I have a readership. I had planned to write about some aspect of fashion on each post, but nothing is coming to mind right now. Maybe a list of dos and don'ts would be helpful? But I usually don't subscribe to these. I generally don't buy the 1 rule applied uniformly. I mean, some things just do work and some things are usually a bad idea, but that shouldn't make them dos and don'ts...I think real fashionistas feel these things out, have a good eye for proportion and colour and most importantly, know what works. One girls killer outfit can die on another. It's not just about understanding the clothes; it's understanding your relationship to the clothes. Each day you dress and leave your house, you can either wander into the scenery, or paint yourself into the big picture in the way you want to be seen.
I guess that is where we can begin this journey................and that is...somewhere?
